GoDaddy Experiences Outage, Millions Affected

Yesterday, for about five hours, one of the largest hosting and domain name companies was down. GoDaddy experienced an extreme outage that left potentially thousands of websites, and countless small business owners, without a site or email.

Most Stadia Studio customers were unaffected since the Stadia Studio web servers are not with GoDaddy, even though hundreds of client domains are registered there.

However, if you were using GoDaddy as your DNS server and simply redirecting web traffic to a specific web server, those DNS services were also down so your site as email appeared to be down as well, even though nothing was wrong with your actual server.
