Use bold, colors and font changes sparingly.

It's easy to get carried away and start making all of your website text red, bold and Comic Sans font. However, that kind of technique is not necessary. You don't need to get your visitor's attention - they've already found your site. Now is the time to communicate and engage. Use bold or other font changes to highlight and enhance specific sections of your text.
